IMIA · Objetos cotidianos® is an emerging brand of everyday objects that offers personal and interior accessories through experimentation with endemic techniques, processes, and materials. Our aim is to decontextualize the environments in which jewelry and furniture are commonly found, thereby creating a connection with people who explore new aesthetics in their daily lives.

Founded by Verónica Hutirón, IMIA embraces experimentation as a creative process and firmly believes in the importance of upcycling and raising awareness about the richness of materials endemic to Mexico.

Currently, IMIA is researching artisanal weaving techniques (wicker) in central Mexico to preserve the value of endemic materials and create aesthetically compelling everyday objects.
