Lotus Che (they/she) is a second-generation Chinese-Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, Canada and Holbox, Mexico. 

Che’s practice explores translating energy into physical form, resulting in a visual language that is raw, visceral, and deeply vulnerable. The shadow self, healing, and the 5th dimension are central themes across their work. 

Che’s artistic vision is realized through a wide range of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, film, performance and installation. 

Che is co-curator of SOMBRA and offers an immersive, schematic curatorial style often inviting the observer into a space of self-contemplation; ergo conceivably, self-actualization.
