Adriana Monterrubio is a visual artist and artisan from San Pedro Pochutla, a coastal town in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Her practice lies at the intersection of art and craftsmanship, shaped by her training with master artisans in the traditional disciplines of leatherworking and textile arts.

Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, with notable showcases including Abordando encuentros (2016), a solo exhibition, and the Biennial ARTE/SANO in 2023, both held at the Museo Estatal de Arte Popular in Oaxaca.

She currently lives and works in the city of Oaxaca.
