Diego Beyró (Buenos Aires, 1984) is a visual artist whose practice unfolds at the intersection of introspection, movement, and the perceptual shifts that arise through travel. Largely self-taught, he deepened his formation during a two-year residency at Fabrica, the Benetton family’s artistic laboratory in Italy (2007–2009). After a decade living in Mexico City, he now lives and works in Madrid. His work has been exhibited widely across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Beyró has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in the tension between photographic precision and painterly materiality. His recent work explores the duality of perception: images that appear almost photographic from afar reveal, up close, a dense topography of gesture, texture, and accumulated time.

Guided by long walking journeys—particularly his repeated routes along the Camino de Santiago—his practice treats movement as both a visual and spiritual trigger. Through light, color, and atmosphere, he transforms the documentary gaze into a more intimate, experiential memory, inviting viewers to navigate that double distance: recognition from afar, immersion in matter up close.
