Tras la Superficie
Tras la Superficie examines the tension between appearance and structure, surface and depth. Bringing together distinct yet resonant practices, the exhibition considers the surface not as a boundary, but as a site of negotiation — where material, gesture, and perception converge.
Across painting and spatial intervention, the works destabilize the immediacy of the visible. Texture becomes language; layering becomes method. What initially presents itself as image gradually reveals processes of construction, erosion, concealment, and exposure.
Rather than privileging illusion, Tras la Superficie proposes surface as an active field — a threshold through which meaning is continuously formed and reformed.
