Sofía Spinnato
b. 1996 in in Misiones, Argentina.
Lives and works in Argentina.
Holds a BA in Visual Arts from the National University of Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires. She took drawing courses with recognized artists such as Viviana Blanco, Nahuel Vecino, Marcia Schvartz, Verónica Gómez, and Eduardo Stupía.
In 2014 she took live-model drawing and painting courses in Écoles des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 2016 she was selected for the Summer Residency Program at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She studied painting with Sergio Bazan and Hernán Salamanco, and took ceramic courses with Ricardo Oliva. She participated in several group shows (2016) Premio Prilidiano Pueyrredón, Buenos Aires; Open Studios, School of Visual Arts, New York; (2017) Inmotion, Osme Gallery, Vienna; (2018) Mucha Pintura, Casa Matienzo, Buenos Aires.
