Antonella’s work doesn’t have a temporality; it manifests what happens in the margins of a constantly updated present, similar to dreams and mystic revelations from which epiphanies and ghosts come up. 

Antonella conceives the development of these images as a treasure, and she seeks to express care in her artistic practice. Cradling her paintings goes beyond a maternal act; it affirms her own life. It’s, in sum, a celebration of our stories, experiences, friendships, complicities, love, and companionship—a thick, bloody, hairy, smelly, cyclic, and vegetal life awareness.
